Its very sad to hear about the death of the Ex-Miss Nigeria 1986, Rita Anuku.According to the statement released by the family, Rita Anuku passed away on thursday 2nd of july at an undisclosed hospital Abuja. It also said that Rita Anuku who became beauty queen at the age of 18 after leaving secondary school had been battling with cancer for close to two years but unfortunately for her, she died at 47. Rita Anuku is survived by three girls and a boy.
Burial arrangement will be announced by the family soon. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
