Man stabs pregnant girlfriend for dumping him



A father-to-be wounded his pregnant sweetheart with a blade and beat her in the stomach shouting "I'm going to kick that infant out of you".

Simon Easterbrook, 20, from Devon, England, was incensed when his sweetheart, who was 18 weeks pregnant at the time, severed their relationship.

To make her pay, he went to her home and soaked her garments with fade and crushed up her TV.

He then punched and kicked her over and over in the stomach yelling "You're not with me so why if you have my youngster".

Lying there nestled into the kitchen floor, he drew out a blade from his pocket and cut her in the arm, saying "I trust she's dead".

Exeter Crown Court was told he then kept running from the house in Torquay, Devon, back home to his mum and cried, "I'm in a bad position. I just went up to her and wounded her'"

Simon was imprisoned for 21 months subsequent to conceding creating genuine substantial mischief, criminal harm and having a little measure of cannabis.

Prosecutor Felicity Payne said Simon and the casualty were seeing someone one year prior to she severed it.

The following day she got a content from him saying he had harmed her TV and would torch the house.

The casualty went to her level and was promptly struck by an in number smell of dye.

"She could see the screen of the TV smashed and the links had been cut," said the prosecutor.

When she looked in her room she discovered a photo of her and her late father had been taken and "all her clothing secured on blanch", included Ms Payne.

The lady called police yet right now could hear Simon attempting to get in through the front entryway.

She attempted to get passed him in the entryway yet Simon "pushed her straight once more into the level", said the prosecutor.

"She was shaking and petrified.

"She says she knew he was going to go for her stomach. He started punching and kicking her more than once in the stomach territory around six times."

"He said in the event that she would not like to be with him she couldn't have the youngster," included Ms Payne.

The casualty nestled into the kitchen floor attempting to ensure herself yet Simon created a blade from his coat pocket and yelled, 'Do you need me to murder you?' at the scared casualty.

"He then wounded her upper left arm, yelling 'I trust she's dead'" the indictment said.

Simon told police he couldn't recollect what had happened.

The casualty, who endured a 1cm cut to her arm said in an announcement that she was 'completely petrified' of Simon.

"I take a gander at what Sam did to my arm and acknowledge he could have executed me," she said.

"On the off chance that he could do this to me what might he be able to do to the child. I never need to see him again."

In the pre-sentence report Simon said: "I went frantic and didn't realize what I was doing'.

Anne Bellchambers, moderating, said her customer was very young and 'maybe things had moved too quick for him', in the relationship.

"It was his method for recovering his own in light of the fact that he was exceptionally resentful.

"He says she didn't merit what happened and is extremely contrite."

Judge Jeremy Griggs said: "This was a frightful ambush. Connections arrive at an end for a mixed bag of diverse reasons yet when they reach an end its regularly terrible. However, to take part in this kind of conduct you partook in on that event in May you know is entirely inadmissible and must be rebuffed.

"This is more or less offensive, kicking and punching to the stomach and probably an endeavor to bring about your tyke to be prematurely ended. Thankfully that has not happened."
