City roughness proceeded on the Fourth of July as gunshot struck a 25-year-old man around 4 a.m. Saturday on the 300 square of Prospect Street, said the police.
The shot penetrated the victim's buttocks through his left thigh, as indicated by Trenton Police Lt. Stephen Varn, who said the man's wounds were considered non-life-undermining.
The man was hurried to Capital Health Regional Medical Center by private means. By day-break the police did not declare any captures or give any suspect portrayals, however Varn said the city's Shooting Response Team was researching the episode.
